Welcome to the website of Tina M. Gohr Photography! After decades in the newspaper business and 12 years as a full-time photojournalist serving as chief photographer at the Door County Advocate and the Kewaunee County Star-News, I have entered the freelance photo business in 2019. It is my passion for photography that I wish to share my enthusiasm for people photography in the private/community sector. My focus will be on weddings, gatherings, events, vow renewals, sports, couples, families, vacations, grads, pets, book covers, etc. In addition, I am equipped to offer on-location food and small product photography. Tina M. Gohr Photography provides guided services as a photo coach for visitors wanting to experience the best of Door County.
I live in the charming and picturesque downtown area of Kewaunee. I proudly serve Door, Kewaunee, Brown, Oconto, Manitowoc and Outagamie counties, but more than willing to travel. I have been an on-location assignment writer/photographer for Our Wisconsin magazine since 2013. And have penned more than 50 articles and credited with dozens of photographs published in the magazine boasting a circulation more than 100,000 subscribers serving as the magazine’s Door County Field Editor. I am also a photographer for the Village of Howard and Washington Island Observer.
In 2018, received the Best Original Writing award from the Wisconsin Community Papers Association.
A multiple Wisconsin Newspaper Association award-winning photographer, among previous print media I have been employed or associated with under the banners of The Daily News, Green Bay Daily News, Green Bay News-Chronicle, De Pere Journal, Luxemburg News, Algoma Record-Herald, Kewaunee Enterprise, Kewaunee County Star-News, Green Bay Press-Gazette and the Door County Advocate.

Wedding photography is the documentation of two people sharing a beautiful journey of love together among friends and family. The photographer helps capture the day of happiness, smiles, hugs, tears, fun, joy and spirituality, sprinkled with good food, family and dancing.
